From there her ballet teaching training began at the British Ballet Organisation Headquarters. After completing her ABBO and Diploma of dance teaching Emma continued to teach at the headquarters teaching ballet grades and majors. Around this time Emma became the Principal of EMC Dance Training North London teaching BBO ballet, Modern, Tap and Musical Theatre.

In 2006 Emma was accepted into the RESOLUTION! 2006 season and her company 36 Below performed her choreography Forever Not Say Goodbye. (Miss Katie was her first soloist!)

On returning home Emma taught RAD NZAMD Jazz and Contemporary and Competition work in Auckland and Waihi while completing her RAD RTS with help from her mentor Valerie Murray.

Emma has spent the last six years adjudicating classical and modern competitions and has been asked back to Dance Your Southern Sox Off for a second time this coming year as the Contemporary Tutor.

In 2012 Emma will become the new Director of SABA (2012) Ltd and looks forward to maintaining the high standards set by Mrs Murray while bringing in fresh and intuitive ideas to the students of the school.
